you know, maybe the reason i'm reminded of sandman is your style of cross-hatching. the way you break up edges by using a reverse process and/or technique. now your wondering how that reminds me of sandman, right? well, sam keith was the original artist of sandman. he uses a similar technique but by traditional means. *shrug* love your work.
Beautiful artwork! I love the sketchy linework and the use of the eraser/negative space to create depth and texture. That orange color gives this a vibrancy, while the blue and greys make it seem so calm. The black is bold, but works so well. You are very talented.
This style reminds me so much of a woodblock, making the blacks seem that much richer and deeper. I'm just focusing on the aspect that draws me in the most, but the whole image has this magnetism to it.
Really enjoying your style, its quite different from the things i normally see and has some dark touch to it, really enjoying the atmo, also it has some mixure of traditional and digital drawing to me, really weird in a good way.
This is a very lovely picture and it's visually very appealing I really like your style, for me it is like a digital sgraffito and has an original execution. I love the composition and the colors, they remind me of a sunset
